Blakespeare
Blakespeare is a maverick pairing of William Blake with William Shakespeare, a unique musical
experience devoted to cutting edge reworkings of the songs and poems with a special celebratory force for Blake’s 251st birthday.
It rides from the sublime to the ridiculous, from Parnassian epithalamia to bawdy balladry, from sweet folk to avant a cappella to electronic experiment, all in service to the bardic muse.
Look forward to giddy mix of scene stalwarts and fresh talent kicking up a bardic storm for all tastes.
