Archbishop Recorded for Sound Installation

Project Blake is delighted to announce that the Archbishop of Canterbury has recorded two William Blake poems for Project Blake Sund Installation.  Afterwards he had these kind words to say:

It was a pleasure contributing a poem to this fascinating project; the proposed installation will provide a fitting long-term legacy for William Blake’s decade in Lambeth.  Lambeth Palace, the official London residence of Archbishops of Canterbury since the 13th century, would have been familiar to Blake as it was a short walk from his home in Hercules Buildings – though he would not have had much time for the official Church of his day!  But the borough has special associations for both of us and I am delighted that Project Blake has brought us together
